I can not edit a material instance from quixel

Hi.
I got some materials from quixel and as far as i understand there is a master material and then the individual materials are instances of that with different settings/textures. now if i want to edit such an instance there are no parameters exposed. there is only the sphere in the window. my thougt is that they have been created somehow, so they should also be editable. or am i doing / understanding something wrong?

oh my. i did deactivate the details window…
if anybody is ever in the same situation git to window->Details in the material instance window.

I want to change the colour,but I dont know how to do

I right click the material instance and choose “edit”,I see the “07-texture maps”,and edit the colour in the Albedo setting,but I change the colour,the colour of the instance isnt chaneged in the preview,WHY??
