I am having such an issue with cine camera DOF when rendering only

I have a question regarding the depth of field in the renderer and if anyone has this problem. The nice depth of field is my editor window looking through the camera, I can change the depth of field just fine. When I render, it looks like it doesn’t take any of the settings no matter what I change. I have tried removing the post process volume, setting every cinematic quality including depth of field quality in the variables in the movie render queue, changing the screen percentage, trying new cameras, doing legacy rendering, doing renders in lumen and path tracer. Nothing seems to change the depth of field that looks great in the editor.

Does anyone have the same issue? I have also made sure the camera is spawnable by the sequencer and same thing.

I have tried to recreate it with regular cameras and every time I put a new camera in it does the same thing

what engine version you on? i’m using 5.3.2. just tested it with a default config i just created. works like a charme. atleast in normal deferred.

you sure you didn’t key something weird? wrong focal distance or something that could mess this up?

My setting looks exactly the same to yours except im at 50mm and 1.8. Also my manual focus is close to yours as well at 189cm. I am also on 5.3.2

I just did a test like yours and it works just fine in this project. I don’t know what the problem is honestly but I might have to just start the project over. I can’t find the problem.
