I have a question regarding the depth of field in the renderer and if anyone has this problem. The nice depth of field is my editor window looking through the camera, I can change the depth of field just fine. When I render, it looks like it doesn’t take any of the settings no matter what I change. I have tried removing the post process volume, setting every cinematic quality including depth of field quality in the variables in the movie render queue, changing the screen percentage, trying new cameras, doing legacy rendering, doing renders in lumen and path tracer. Nothing seems to change the depth of field that looks great in the editor.

I just did a test like yours and it works just fine in this project. I don’t know what the problem is honestly but I might have to just start the project over. I can’t find the problem.
