I am doing an art gallery, when I insert the image ( srgb jpg) over: 1: a white stucco facade 2:Using Details/ texture/Open 3:The adjusting format using UV /Scale 4:tuning of the format using Details/Strech and offset the sRGB JPG is contrasty?

Is there a better way or surface to apply a JPEG ?

I try to adjust using: lift gamma...gain...or the light I am using to illuminate but it is tedious

there is certainly a better work flow..
