HTC vive pro controller not working in Unreal 5

Hello, first thank you if you can help me…
first i was using HTC vive + unreal 4 : everything was working fine
Now…
i have a new HTC vive pro 2 and Unreal 5 and not working correctly.

The only thing not working is the Controller actions. i see the controller, and they move correctly. How ever no action is working. Grab, teleport, etc…

Everything is working fine in other software such as Twinmotion.

All gear, driver and firmware are up to date.

i saw many other people with the same problem but no answers…

anyone got them working ?

Is this with the Unreal 5 default VR Template? If so it maybe because the OpenXR runtime isn’t considering the application being in focus. Make sure the SteamVR dashboard is closed, and that you are wearing the headset.

if i close it before opening Unreal, it automatically reopen when i open Unreal VR template.

Closing the dashboard from within VR once you have started the VR preview should be enough to make it work. If not check if the inputs show up in the SteamVR binding menu.

disable the steam and oculous vr plugins
then just activate the open xr ones.
make sure your input actions are set or import them from another proj
