How would I make a material for a tropical island?

Hi,

I am trying to make a Tropical Island, and I would like to have Grass in the middle of the Island then Sand on the outside like a beach. Whenever I am doing the layout of my terrain I selected Grass as my main material and it’s just Grass and no sand. How would I do the sand on the outside of the Island without effecting the rest of the terrains grass material?

#Landscape Material

You have to setup your landscape material to support layers, and you have to make the landscape layers!

Apply the landscape material by highlighting your landscape and pressing F4 to open details panel, and selecting your landscape material that you made.
