Is it possible to view a half rendered video output? I was using a farm computer to render a PT video but my credits ran out halfway. I managed to copy the half finished video output file. I've tried opening it with VLC but to no avail. Is there a trick to at least seeing the frames that were rendered?
Hello ,
The partially rendered video should be viewable in any video player that supports mp4 files. There may be a chance that the video file could have been corrupted when the render process was stopped - normally, if you select the Cancel option in Twinmotion the partially rendered video should be output normally, but if the application is forced to close or crashes then corruption is a risk. If the file was corrupted, then unfortunately viewing the rendered frames would not be easy and doing so is outside my knowledge.
Best,
Raghib
Hey Raghib, many thanks for your answer. That explains it - I didnt cancel the process, and just copied the file as it was being rendered. I will keep this in mind for the next time. thanks a lot
