How to use imported vertex colors ?

Hi everybody,

new to UE, I’m trying to display meshes from ply files into a VR application.

To do that, I import my ply mesh containing vertex colors data in Blender and export it as fbx file. I import that fbx file into my scene and the object shows the vertex colors.

But as soon as I build the lighting of the scene, it becomes all black.

What am I doing wrong ?

The lightmaps generated when building lighting require UVs. Since this model has likely no UVs, the lightmaps are getting baked as black.
