I’m trying to create a realistic visual effect of a viscous fluid being injected into the eye — similar to what happens during an IOL (intraocular lens) surgery.
Here’s the behavior I want:

When the fluid is injected, it causes temporary wrinkles or folds on the eye’s corneal/lens surface.

These distortions should gradually smooth out over time as the fluid spreads.

The effect should be localized around the injection point, visible mainly through refraction and surface distortion.
I’m not trying to simulate full fluid dynamics — just a believable shader-based or Niagara-based surface deformation.
