I’m trying to incorporate 2d trees in my scenes to make more realistic images but I can’t find how or where to quickly place a bunch of billboard instances. It must be possible.

These techniques could open new doors for architecture movies I think. For aerial shots. Because 3d vegetation for aerial shots with speedtree it’s too expensive right now and trees with LODS are not acceptable imo.
I’m starting to think that it ‘‘could’’ be possible to do these kind of movies all within Unreal and billboards are going to be one huge step to help it.
