How to render ue water system’s animated water level?

Hi!
Lets say, i need a river to dry out and start flowing again. I parented waterbody to an object and animated its z axis. It works fine in viewer when i move the object but when I animate it and render, water doesn’t move along.
When i play animation in timeline, water doesn’t follow as well, but after stoping playbead and selecting the parent, water updates. So there has to be some way to tell water to update its z level.
