The easiest way, probably, is to add another collision channel (in project settings) for self objects. Set the default response to overlap, and then in your pawn, set your capsule and your hands to this ‘Self’ channel and make them ignore other ‘Self’ objects. That way, you wont get a collision response when your hand overlaps the capsule. This might have knock-on effects if you’re working heavily with physics, though.
