Hi. Could anyone help me out about these soft shadows I’m getting around the hard (blocky) edges on my gun? I’m sure this is just matter of shading options, probably just a few boxes to tick… However I was unable to find any solution to this problem. Attached is the screenshot of the issue I’m having:
Just to prove this looks absolutely disgusting in-game, here’s a screenshot of how it looks in play mode:
It does not look good and I’m trying to push for a more voxel-like look with hard shadows on the edges. Next attached is the example how I’d prefer the shadows to look (what I’m trying to achieve):
I don’t understand why the material preview shows different from what it looks in the game. Whoever has any ideas on how to resolve this issue I would seriously be beyond thankful. To whomever is reading this: have a nice rest of your day and thank you for taking your time to read my post! <3
