how to remove lights from reflections?

this seems like it’s probably a common problem but im not sure what terms i should be searching for to find an answer.

basically i need to stop a light source from being visible in reflective surfaces. the light is essentially fake it’s being used to simulate a flame on a torch.

i need the particles to reflect but not the point light.

In the light advanced settings you can set the Specular Scale to 0 to remove it from the reflections.

Or also set the soft source radius a bit and adjust it so there is a light reflection, but it’s softer and less obvious a big harsh sphere.
