How to record MotionController Trigger Input with Sequencer

I have particle emitters that are spawned attached to my MotionControllers, and the trigger pressure changes their rate…I am trying to record in sequencer and get the particles, but I don’t see the controllers or the particle effects going.

I have custom meshes in my character, which are moved using the motioncontrollers positions, but they are not children of the controller. This is also where I spawn my emitters.

Is there something special I need to do in order to make sure they are recorded?

Just to clarify:

We are spawning these emitters at runtime, so they are not available until we are playing.
