How to properly blend character animations in Unreal Engine 5?

Hi Unreal community!

I’m working on a third-person action game in UE5, and I’m currently setting up character animations. I’m having some trouble getting smooth transitions between animations — for example, from idle to run, or run to jump.

I’ve tried using Blend Spaces and State Machines in the Animation Blueprint, but I feel like the transitions are still a bit snappy or unnatural.

Does anyone have tips or best practices for achieving smooth, natural animation blending in UE5? Would love to hear your approaches!
