I’ve made a head bob for my character using camera shakes. it’s fine but the fade out is a bit glitchy. i have a fade out but it does’t feel nice. i want something like alien: Isolation where, when you stop moving, the camera bob shake stops in its current location, waits a second, and then lerps back to 0,0,0.
I’ve looked through the camera shake source files, but i can’t find how the update is being called and how to fade out is working. i was going to override the function, save the current location and then figure out how to lerp that back to 0,0,0.
