Hi everyone,
I’ve been building some Niagara particle systems for a sci-fi action game in Unreal Engine 5 — things like explosions, fire trails, and energy shields.
It looks great in-editor, but I notice a serious frame drop when several effects play simultaneously, especially in VR.
What are the best practices for optimizing Niagara particle systems without sacrificing too much visual quality?
Would love to hear your tips!
