How do I move one edge of a Navmesh in the UE4 editor? If I click on the navmesh, I can translate, scale or rotate it but I can’t seem to move just one side of it. I suspect this is a really obvious control but I can’t for the life of me figure it out from the docs.
We don’t have such a feature and wasn’t really planning on adding it. The problem with manual navmesh modifications is that you’d loose all the changes with the first subsequent navmesh rebuild, since its virtually impossible to keep manual changes around while generating navmesh like recast does.
Having said that you can influence the way navmesh generates, and the easiest way is by placing NavModifierVolumes.
How can I make the navigation use all of the available colliding geometry that works fine for manual control, but not for AI? How to make the navMesh build on 89° slopes as it allows to type in? I did the settings in the project and added there agent parameters and still fail to get to the way to the top of the machine green. The FBX file I have sent to Rudy Triplett.
Please let me know if I am doing wrong or there is development in this direction to postpone my this project for a while?
Thanks.
