How to make Translucent Materials skip Actors?


Today I’m asking for something that I’m not certain if it’s possible with the current Setup.

So, for my objective system, the area that is affected has a sphere mesh with a translucent material which only has a depth fade functionality as it bound detector (See image 1). Now, that has the following Effect (image 2).

However, I want to see if I can find a way to skip the bus and cars from receiving these depth fade effects.

What can be done?


You can try similar method that I described here, but just mask out your buses with custom stencil.
