How to make normal component of material avaialble

I am trying to make the normal input of a material available to me. I have been using an example material from another project for reference. But I can not make the normal component available to me. My Blend Mode is Translucent and my shading model is Default Lit.

Any ideas?

Be sure to set your shader’s Lighting mode to “Volumetric Directional”

but, you can try and play with the other settings as well :slight_smile:
