I got a model with hair cards with color , alpha and normal maps … but it looks very bad …
i searched to how make it more realistic and i came across the photorealistic character example by epic …
it uses 4 maps alpha , ID , Roots and depth .
is there a way to make the later 3 maps form alpha (the look kinda the same with different gradience) ?
-if not … i came cross this video( Creating Hair Textures for Unreal Engine 4 - YouTube ) in which that dude made them from scratch …
but i don’t know how to arrange the cards like he did in the beginning …
