How to Make a Translucent Material?

When creating a material that should be translucent, I used to use:
Shader Domain: Translucent + Surface Transluceny Volume

But, this isn’t not working anymore, unless I am going to use Pathtracer.

What’s the current best Glas Solution for Lumen, not using Pathtracer?

ehh. you should set the opacity to something below 1.0. perhaps you typoed the 5.0 in there? 0.5 should do the trick. :slight_smile:

I wish it would be, nope. That’s just a random number I am going to adjust in the Parameter value.
From all the testing I did, it seems it’s broken and not working.

The only solution for that seems to be to change the Translucency from Lumen to Raytracing.
But kinda odd.


You can try these settings. It is working with Raster translucency in Lumen in 5.4.3.
