I followed your tutorial: A new, community-hosted Unreal Engine Wiki - Announcements - Epic Developer Community Forums, and it says to hold down the 1 button and click, but nothing happened… please help!
- Video does not work for me for some reason ;p 2. point exact time when that parameter things is mentioned
Video doesnt work for me either. If you mean scalar material parameter, hold down 1 and click anywhere on the canvas. Then right click on the scalar value you created and Convert to Parameter.
But a more detailed explanation of ur problem would be nice
As far as is skipped through the video it is about the material editor, so i suggest u want to add a constant into ur material…
U do this normally by holding down 1 one ur keyboard and left click, BUT u can also do it by searching in the Palette(on the right side) for “Constant” and dragg it into the space. - Do that by holding left mouse button down, move ur mouse to the left grid and release it…
To convert it to a parameter - Right click on the constant and on the popup click on “Convert to Parameter”
Yes i meant that
For some reason, it doesnt work, but i managed to do it by searching costant and do it in the other way… thanks anyway
Thanks for explaining me the other way to do it! For some reason holding down 1 and clicking doesnt work!
