Hello everyone, I hope you’re doing well!
I’m reaching out for some help regarding implementing Unreal Engine for augmented reality in a broadcast environment. I currently work at a TV channel where we use Vizrt as our main tool for augmented reality. While Vizrt works well, its visual quality doesn’t quite match what Unreal Engine can deliver. That’s why I’d like to explore integrating Unreal Engine for this purpose.
My thinking is that if we can receive the tracking data in one program, we should be able to leverage that same data to interact with Unreal Engine. However, I’m a bit lost on where to start.
Could you guide me on how to begin this process?
- What documentation is available to help me understand the system and the integration?
- What would be the first steps to connect the tracking data (position, pan, tilt, and zoom) with Unreal Engine?
