How to import niagara effects from unreal marketplace?

There are some free niagara packs on unreal marketplace but when I click add to project, none of my projects are shown and therefore, I can’t use anything from the unreal marketplace.

How do I fix this? Thanks

Hi Wolflow,

Currently you’ll need to add that marketplace pack to an existing UE5 project and then Migrate(Right click on folder/asset in Content Browser → Asset Actions → Migrate) from the UE5 project into your UEFN project.

The ‘Content’ Folder in your UEFN project is at ...\YourProjectName\Plugins\YourProjectName\Content

Eventually we’ll be able to add packs directly to UEFN with ‘Fab’.

I just copied the files with explorer and it worked fine

I migrated the packs from UE5, dragged them into UEFN but get this error when I launch a session. I dragged in about 4 niagara effects. Is there another step I’m missing that will allow me to start the game without any errors?

You’ll need to open up each Niagara asset and click 'Fix issue" to add the missing bit.
