I’m looking for a way to get swimming with Gerstner waves while using the water plugin for an ocean. I managed to get some swimming to work by creating a physics volume just below the surface of the water however when you swim away from the shore you have points where the player is floating above the water surface in the dips of the waves and a good deal below the surface in the peaks of the waves. Any suggestions? Also technically I am doing the work in UE5 instead of 4.26 but from my understanding there isn’t much difference in the water plugin between UE4.26 & UE5.
