Using a 100Hz monitor, when limiting the frame rate to 30 FPS or 60 FPS, the gameplay stutters. Using an external FPS overlay, it looks like the frame rate is not constant and varies between an upper and lower bound, only averaging to the set frame rate. Using the smooth frame rate option or vsync has no effect.
I have not found a lot of information about frame pacing and ensuring a capped uniform frame rate.
Is there a way to make 30FPS and 60FPS feel smooth/uniform using UE5?
