Hi, I’m trying to vertex blend from an opaque vertex material assignment to a transparent one. I’m getting a white colour when I try to fade to the channel that is transparent, as you can see in the picture below:
How can I get rid of the white and just go straight to transparent?
I am relatively new to UE4, so maybe I’m overlooking an obvious option, but I couldn’t find a solution online.

EDIT: Just to be clear, the transparency vertex colour channel is working, you can see that it is transparent next to the orange outline of the object. but the transition from opaque material to transparent is giving me a white colour.
