My HDRI background has multiple layers with a bottom top and others for clouds, etc, how do I make it so it emits light like in the default one?
When you make the HDR material, it’s usual to plug stuff into the emissive, so it lights up that way.
You can also connect the skylight to the HDR which gives you the kind of lighting you would get from that scene.
But the main lighting still comes from your directional light.
