im using the new substrate toon and the area where you see the shading hit full white is very hard and noticeable, in other engines it would smoothly fade from dark to light side but in UE its like a hard line where it gets there, and no its not a ramp problem.

Yeah, that’s quite a hard cut in the gradient. Have you tested adding more keys to the curve? I managed to spread out the hard line on my end with a few more entries. All features tied to substrate toon are still experimental, but this change should improve your result.
