I want to understand is the base level so unoptimized or the problem is in my pc (ryzen 5 2600x, gtx 1070, 16GB DDR4 ram)?
What’s the main reason of so low fps?
Try to delete the volumetric cloud actor. Epic screwed something up in their latest UE5 release, it performs terribly. You can also manually decrease the cloud quality.
But if you don’t run on ancient hardware, the cloud actor would be my main culprit.
I’ve checked it. Well, I’ve got additional ~4fps. but I don’t think the problem is the volumetric clouds. I forgot to mention, I’m using UE 5.5.3, so maybe this problem was already fixed.
