Hello,
Is there any way to prevent my hair skeletal mesh to receive the shadow from the sky light ? (But receive the one from the sun)
reason is that the sky light is causing weird noise on my hair. I tried a lot of things to resolve it and it seems that it is caused by the sky light shadows.
When I uncheck “cast shadow” on the sky light, then the problem disappear. But I would like to keep them on the environment (since they are really usefull).
I tried to uncheck only “cast dynamic shadow” on the sky light, but strangely it doesn’t work…
I know this as something to do with the distance field ambient occlusion, but again I have no idea why it affects the skeletal mesh (It shouldn’t) and why it is acting like this.
If I make my hair static mesh, the problem is gone (but I can’t keep them as static mesh).
