I want to heavily use Auto Exposure/Eye Adaptation feature in a very contrast environment, but it’s not working for Mac OS X. According to the topic “Auto Exposure does not work on Mac OSX”, it’s not supported on OSX’s version of OpenGL. However, in a number of OS X games I’m able to see it on the same hardware and OS. I think that it can be easily emulated overpassing OpenGL.
How it can be emulated in UE4? In postprocess material, tone mapper or in some engine code modifications? Where and how?
