i do not want to use UE5.1.1, how can i get 5.1.0 ?
Hi wde, welcome to the Forums,
I’m curious as to the reason you don’t want to use 5.1.1 (What broke?)
For 5.1.0 you’d need to compile that version of the engine from github.
just because this ,
in UE5.0.3 , it do not need preparing so much shaders.
I cant fix this issue , I want to try 5.1.0,
In fact, I don’t know if this problem is a version BUG.
thks
BTW
I re-installed UE5.1.1 , but it also need preparing shaders.
Preparing Shaders just in standalone mode.
it just a UE5 First Person Template Project , A empty scene .
when i creat this Project , it just need to Preparing 20+ Shaders.
why it needs so much shader(even 4000+) in standalone mode.
I’ve seen shaders needing to be recompile just from switching the scalability settings in UE5.
Are you saying that you’re needing to recompile shaders every time you launch standalone?
Greetings @wde21345sac !

It is Preparing shaders .
but when preparing to complete , it does not need to Preparing there Shaders again .
It needs to prepare shaders and should only do so once. just once!!
Thks
