I have a an effect that I am wanting to create in my game. Basically when the player enters the room I want the room to begin to deteriorate with animated materials. I am not sure now i can achieve this effect? if anyone as any ideas or steps of how this can be done that would much appreciated !

Off the top of my head, you could use a decal that has like, vines and dirt and stuff, and have it spread over the surfaces of the room, although it wouldn’t look as “3D” as your examples. Decals | Unreal Engine Documentation
Oops, I just saw your last post…looks like that was your first idea! Unfortunately, I’m not sure how it’s actually done, so I can’t be of much more help.
