Hi, i’m new to particle effects in general and I want to find out how this sword slash particle effect is made.
Pretty much like in these videos:
The “sword slash” effect is shown when the player hits the enemy with the sword (not the animtrails).
If anyone could give me a push in the right direction I would be very grateful!
You will need to learn how to use UE4’s Cascade or Niagara particle systems.

The lazy way would probably be to purchase a pack on the marketplace.
alright, maybe i’ll just use a mesh effect or something
