How to create a single calibration for all cameras?

I have a project with all photos taken with the same camera/fixed lens. The current camera calibrations are all different; I want to make them the same (and optimized). The manual suggests various ways of doing this, none of which is working for me. What is the correct procedure?

Hi @TKSharpless
Which parameter do you exactly mean? If the parameters should be optimized, they will be slightly different for the images (it depends on your settings).
You can choose all images in 1Ds view and set the Calibration group (under Prior calibration) and Lens group (under Registration calibration) to some number.
After the alignment all cameras from the same group should have the same registration values.

Thanks, @otrhan, that works for a new project, but not for a project that has already been aligned. So I can just do it that way. My purpose is to prepare fixed prior calibrations for future projects. I hope to generate XMP files for new images, that have the camera and lens calibrations as ‘locked’ settings, so that only poises and points will be estimated. Is that feasible?

It is doable also in the already created project.
In the project you need to follow the first steps and then set Force component rematch in the Advanced alignment settings. Then you will need to provide a new alignment.
But not sure if this is feasible, as you will change the camera positions during capturing and these parameters could be slightly changed and not consistent.
