How to connect these material nodes?

Hello community,

I bought this staff from one store, and now im trying to make properly material setup but i really dont know how to connect these nodes… Could someone help me how to?

I’m guessing the black and white texture is some sort of roughness/specular map. Didn’t the asset come with any kind of readme?

Looks to me like the “ocean” texture could be plugged into the Subsurface input if you change the material to be subsurface. Then create a scalar named “opacity” and plug that into opacity to control how much of the subsurface comes through. If you want to try getting fancy you could use the mask texture at the bottom the Linear Interpolate between different opacity values for the different parts.

You may need to try darkening the basecolor a bit if you want the subsurface to play a larger role.
