How to block foliage and trees on the spline?

Hi Guys!

I want to ask how can I prevent foliage and trees from being added to the spline?
Im using a Worldspawner to spawn some tree, rocks to the landscape.
When im draw the spline the foliage and spawned trees, rocks stay on the spline (now at the road).
Im resimulated all, but same result.
The Landscape collision presets are “BlockAll”.

The foliage erase tool doesnt work, I can only select the trees one by one and delete them.

I tried putting “BlockingVolume” on the spline trace, but that doesn’t work either, it doesn’t block them.

If anyone has a solution, thank you very much.

Im using UE 5.1.
Sorry for my badly english, hope understand.

Greetings,
Sven

This means exactly nothing to us.
It could be a custom solution, it could be Epic’s default. We have no idea.

Unless your spline is painting the landscape layer to a different material, that’s probably always going to be the case.

The Epic provided Procedural Foliage tools allow you to exclude paint layers from where the items are spawned.
That’s the fastest way to operate if you want to keep using landscapes.

Blocking volumes are Boxes you place around wherever, manually. Not ideal for a spline, even if possible.

If a blocking volume is just not working, chances are you aren’t using Epic’s original Procedural Foliage tools… There’s not much else I can think of that would cause it. Provided you did click “re-simulate” after placing the volume.
