How to Bake AO

I’m trying to bake the Ambient Occlusion. I create a static skylight with HDRI cubemab. I put a lightmas importance volume on the level, but when i’m going to the lightmass settings and activate “Use ambient occlusion”, and build, nothing happen. Can somebody help??

What does this scene look like after build; in other words how do you know it’s not working. Before and after comparison? Perhaps the Skylight is blowing everything out.

What are your all of your lightmass settings?

Did you try Visualize AO to see any result?

Hi Conrad, i think i finally found the solution. I was doing the build on preview setting and it seems it does not show the AO very good. Changing that to another quality i finally see some results

But i can preview my AO on the editor but when i switch to Ambient Occusion on the buffer visualization is all white. Only when i activate AO from the post process it works. Any suggestion??

Stick with Visualize AO.
