I’m trying to make my Wolf for my game be able to align itself with the terrain when its going up a hill.

so you want someone to make the script for you then. if thats the case hire someone.
the video shows that the person who made it is using a line trace, then i would guess that they are using the impact normal and some further scripting to set the rotation of the character.
