I’m starting to go nuts over the fact that I can’t add height displacement to my material. The best that was possible was to apply bump offset which in my opinion doesn’t look good enough compared to what the material can look like. Does anyone have an answer or is it simply impossible at the moment in Fortnite UEFN?
I’m pretty sure this is not possible in FN. Most likely due to it needing to run on many different platforms and geometry displacement is probably on the more processor intensive tasks.
You can:
use normal maps
use altered diffuse maps
alter the geometry outside of uefn and use the changed geometry
