How do I stop grass from overlapping my other landscape layers?

Hi,

So I am trying to create a golf course… but when I paint my sand I still get grass overlapping. How do I stop this from happening as it looks horrible.

I am using the landscape grass type which is suggested by Epic Games.

I have attached a screenshot so you can see the grass overlapping the sand.

Please can someone help

Hi,

Already tried. It doesn’t change anything.

Thanks

Did you try setting the brush falloff to 0?

Would something like this be of use to you? UE4 Landscape Grass Output Tutorial - YouTube That might help with your trouble, at least somewhat.

Hi Tate,

This doesn’t help me. The issue I have is the grass mesh overlaps my sand layer. So I have a grass layer blend and a sand layer blend, when I paint sand I need the grass to stop overlapping because it looks like grass is growing in the sand.

Any ideas?

Thanks
