I quit browsing through Fab as I can’t seem to find how to put items on a wishlist. With 100,000s of items, how am I supposed to quickly mark things for later reference? Am I just too stupid to find the button?
Also, how can I switch to fullscreen view of an item? Or zoom in? Fab offers 3D models worth several 100 USDs, so how can I inspect them up close before buying?
Or is FAB the only shop on the entire internet without these super basic features?
You can’t, and judging by the time it took the marketplace dev team to just edit - not fix - the basic search function in FAB, you won’t be able to do it until 2026. If you are lucky, that is.
I guess everybody is working on the engine and they have no staff left to work on the shop then. It really feels as if they don’t even want to sell these assets.
There was this first sale on FAB and I just thought, “Great! How the hell am I supposed to find the stuff I’m interested in if I can’t A) inspect stuff up close (full-screen) and B) make a list for stuff to buy?”. No use of putting up a sale until these are fixed IMO.
Also, I feel really sorry for people releasing stuff right now that just flushes through, as it can’t be added to any wish list. It’ll just be lost in a sea of unnoticed releases.
The wishlists has been in ongoing development for at least a week or two now, my guess is they will try to release it before the February sale or before the individual sales come up. It’s not just a link array bookmark button, it integrates with a mailing list, has its own website for organization, filtering, and a bunch of other stuff if the mockup on the roadmap is to believed.
It’s a complete mystery why the fullscreen / full-size view of images has been removed - especially since all of the migrated assets have had their images now artificially compressed to fit the new, smaller size on FAB.
This is another one of these FAB decisions that make zero sense. It’s really like Epic deliberately wants people to have a bad experience on FAB…
Not sure, why there’s a need to limit the wishlist, but happy that there’s something coming.

Don’t see the maximize button so far, but pressing “F” indeed works already. Thanks! So far it’s just the resolution of the image from the store page scaled up, but that’s better than no full-screen at all.
