How do i put a skeletal mesh behind the character in endless runer

Hey guyzz, I wanted to ask you that how do i put a skeletal mesh, that is animted behind the character in and endless runner, Like the player is runnign from a car

maybe just copy the skeletal mesh animation? (and move it by X / Y behind)

There are plenty of ways to do it

You can just make it always go towards relative X and look at player with certain speed to make it follow, make the car follow a spline, use AI Move To node, all depends on idea and as it seems that you’re bit un-experienced I can advice you with this:

Vehicle following spline - if you have a strict map where you can go only forward and a bit sideways this will be a good approach

AI follow player - you can make your car an AI to make it follow the player!

For more - do a bit research while getting more experience while doing your stuff
