Hey everyone! I’m using the free version of the Voxel plugin and I’m attempting to paint foliage onto it, but the brush never comes up…not sure if that’s just a limitation of the free version, or if I’m missing something?
Did you set it to paint on static mesh?
I did, yeah, I checked all the boxes just to make sure
So the world is not static meshes? It’s instanced meshes, or…?
You can bake (select voxel world and go down to Voxel - Bake) the voxel world out to be a normal landscape mesh then use the landscape foliage painter tools from there.
If you want to make instanced foliage native to Voxel Plugin you either need to code your own HISM or get Voxel Plugin Pro.
If you decide to go with Pro I made a tutorial that talks about this stuff.

Hi! My Voxel Plugin Free says that I can only bake with the pro version. Am I doing something wrong or has this changed?
