I was thinking of using a normal’s map to make the player leave a trail in the snow. Not sure if there is a better way. If any one can help me out many thank’s.

Glad too see I am not the only one who is working with snow. Here is a tutorial that helped me out a bit Unreal Engine 4 Footprint Tutorial part 4 - YouTube. Not sure if you want to use tessellation tho, dependent on the map size.
