When I use textures, they are always the same on every qm. When I take two texture samples with different uv coordinates, it is at every qkm the same. Is there a way to make procedural texture generation or another thing to make the textures looking more natural?
There’s a bunch of stuff you can do, a very simple thing is that you can blend multiple textures in your material that have different tiling which can add some variation. Depending on what you’re doing you can also use decals and vertex painting to add some unique detail with the object that has the tiled textures.
In 4.13 we are getting the texture bomb nodes which reduces texture tiling. Here’s a thread with a bit more info and a download link to the nodes.
