How do I make my viewport render in real-time when not in focus?

Indeed, thank you!

I have two simple objects, one in Maya and one in Unreal, connected via Live Link. When I move the object in Maya, it’s appearance does not change in Unreal until I select the Viewport Window, and then it updates to the new location fine.

I’m new to Unreal but in other editors I’ve used there was an option to “Render-when-not-in-focus” so that Animations, VFX, etc. would play even when the viewport didn’t have focus.

Is there a similar option here that I’m missing or some other way to make the object in Unreal react in real-time to my Maya changes? Any solutions are much appreciated.

Uncheck Use less CPU when in background in editor preferences and see if that fixes it.
