How do I make a material that gradually emits a light when it needs to?

I’m planning to make a car asset for my projects and I need to know how to make the lights have an incandescent-like behavior when the headlights have to be turned on, the driver is pulling the brakes or reversing the car, and so on. This is a demonstration of the animation that the lights will have:

These are the textures that you can use for this:
Base Color (Make sure the texture group is “2D pixels”)
Emission mask

Have you thought of settong the emmissove to its maximum brightness you require then animate the opacity channel?

Sort of, but I’ll still need to look for a way to animate “the opacity channel” (the single vector mask) when it’s demanded, something like the “Incandescent” GIF for these lights right now:
